Rocliffe and BAFTA are thrilled to announce the results of the
BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum - Film 2015 script call.
Finalists
Anthony Khaseria,
Georgia Lester and
Mark Eccleston have been selected by our industry panels to have their work showcased at BAFTA.
The showcase will take place at
7pm on the 2nd December at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly where the three finalists' work will be performed by professional actors and critiqued by BAFTA-nominated industry guests screenwriter
Olivia Hetreed and producer
Andy Paterson. It is a fantastic chance for all writers to network and see the finalist's extracts performed.

Two panels of film professionals from the UK helped select the winning entrants, including leading independent executives, agents, writers and producers.

In addition to the showcase event, the finalist writers will also receive access to bespoke industry networking opportunities and development workshops and events.

When a teenage boy goes offshore fishing with his father for the first time, they catch something which causes a profound change in his beliefs.
Anthony grew up in Windsor but has lived in Paris, Edinburgh, Brighton and Oregon, USA. He holds a BA honours degree in English and an MA in Screenwriting. His narratives often contain playful elements with unexpected set-ups and twists and he is currently developing several feature film scripts, a sitcom and a short film script. His short
Reflections won the Bombay Sapphire Imagination Series and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2014. No one in his family has worked in the film industry before but reading film magazines and scripts as a child inspired him to write for the screen. Anthony has a part-time admin job which gives him time to write and has recently started working as a freelance script reader.
Mules by Georgia Lester
Three female friends escape their mundane reality for a summer in Magaluf, but their desperation for adventure leads them into a drug smuggling ring.
Georgia started writing in the
Skins writers room at the age of 18, pretending to be a cool teenager. Her improvised tales of drinking and drugs must have impressed because she remained on the
Skins team for five years, writing four episodes. Georgia became the youngest ever writer on
Hollyoaks at 19 and has written 20 episodes. She also wrote an episode of E4's
Youngers. In 2014, Georgia spent 3 months in New York, story producing E4's structured reality show
Taking New York, learning what ‘some scenes have been constructed for your entertainment’ actually means.
