The 2015 Green Tie Bash honoring Champions of Energy was an absolute hit, and Nexus would like to extend our gratitude to everyone that attended, donated, and supported in so many different ways.
Without supporters like you, Nexus Energy Center could not continue our important mission of building smarter energy communities throughout Alabama.
With that said, we are SO excited to announce that this year's Green Tie Bash raised a record amount of money - enough to fund two full Comfort Project homes!
This is truly an outstanding accomplishment for the Nexus Energy Center, and again we are so thankful to everyone who made this possible.

Nexus Energy Center staff with the 2015 Air Pollution Control Board
Nexus Energy Center was honored to receive the 2015 Air Pollution Control Achievement Award, presented by the City of Huntsville and the Air Pollution Control Board.
Nexus was chosen for this honor because of our educational outreach efforts (particularly through the Tiny Green Home) to teach our community about the relationship between energy conservation and air quality.
Thank you, City of Huntsville, for this outstanding recognition!

Nexus Energy Center helps bring energy awareness to Redstone Arsenal
The Tiny Green Home was on hand at Huntsville's Redstone Arsenal for an exhibit day highlighting different forms of alternative energy and their applications for daily living.
The exhibit, coinciding with National Energy Action Month, brought various demonstrations of sustainable energy to the arsenal as a way to educate employees on the importance of conserving energy. Demonstrations included electric cars, portable solar panels, wind turbines, and of course the Nexus Tiny Green Home.
Pictured above is the Tiny Green Home along with the wind turbine demo.
