 Coffee with the Deans Weekdays, 9:30-11:30am | HC Café. Coffee with the DeansOn Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, special Honors College mugs will be given to the first 20 students to come for coffee. Bring your Rutgers ID, one per student.  

 Distinguished Fellowships and YOU—Do you want opportunities to teach, get Distinguished Fellowshipsinternships, study internationally--and have someone else pay for it?! Rutgers students have a great record of winning prestigious fellowships like the Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, Goldwater, Gates-Cambridge, Mitchell, and others thanks to Dr. Arthur Casciato, Director of the Office of Distinguished Fellowships. He'll be reaching out to all 500+ of you personally to set up times to talk. Or, you can email him directly. Start imagining your future!

 Thinking about studying abroad this summer? Applications for the Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS) are due by Monday, November 23, 7:59pm EST. CLS is part of a US government interagency effort to expand the number of Americans studying and mastering critical need foreign languages, as identified by the US Department of State—Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla/Bengali, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Turkish, and Urdu. Interested candidates should email Dr. Casciato.

A public conversation on the struggle for equity and access in higher education, featuring African-American alumni from the Rutgers College and Douglass College classes of 1964 through 1973, on the occasion of the celebration of Rutgers’ 250th Anniversary. It was chocolate night last week at Dean Matsuda’s apartment…HC bakers made brownies, lava cake, and chocolate chip fudge!


 Dean Matsuda—N105—Open Kitchen this Tuesday, November 3, 6:30-8:00pm. Bring your ingredients to Dean Matsuda’s apartment and he’ll supply the stove, oven, pots, pans, utensils, cooking oil, and basic spices.
 
 Dr. Mazzeo—N103—Open Hours Sundays-Thursdays, 8:00-9:00pm. Family Dinners Select Saturday Nights. Sign up for a spot at the table!

 Dr. Hartman—E241—Open Hours Sundays, 7:00-9:00pm. Crafty Wednesdays, 6:30-9:30pm. Work on a project, get help with a repair, or learn to knit/crochet. All are welcome.
