Check it out: You can find all the things you need to cook those warm and filling winter meals at the Belfast Farmers' Market: beef, pork, water buffalo, lamb, chicken, turkey, duck, fish and shellfish, eggs, cheese, dairy, bakery items, lots and lots of storage vegetables, honey, maple syrup, prepared meals, jams and chutneys! Start your Christmas shopping with local handcrafts and soap. And while you are shopping, enjoy a crepe made to order and a hot cup of coffee or blueberry tea!
Whether it's planning for the Thanksgiving feast, or just a warming stew, it's all there at the market. Fridays, 9-1. Please note: the market will NOT be open the day after Thanksgiving, or Christmas or New Year's.

Appleton Creamery: It's time to reserve your whole Camdenbert for the holidays! Baked in fillo dough and served with Half Moon Farm chutney, it makes a special holiday treat! We make it with the beautiful Jersey milk from Springdale Farm.
It's also time to reserve your holiday turkey from Maine-ly Poultry. John advises that turkeys are in short supply this year, so don't wait until the last minute.
Don't like turkey? How about a leg of lamb from New Beat Farm? or beef from Meadowsweet Farm or Springdale Farm. An old New England tradition is baked stuffed fish! Check in with Pemaquid Lobster & Fish to see what they may have available for the holidays.
