The Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) and the Jain Society of Greater Atlanta, Inc. (JSGA) 2016 EC election will be held on Sunday, December 06, 2015. The EC positions are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Youth Coordinator/Youth Secretary and 2 Executive Committee Members.
The AGBM and EC election will be held at the Society's Jain Center on following venue:

Date: December 06, 2015. Time: 10:00am to 2:00 p.m.*
* Note: The AGBM may be adjourned later than 2:00 p.m. if & when necessary depending on time required to conclude EC election during the said meeting as required per the Society's Constitution &/or the By-Laws as amended.
*** Nomination Eligibility: All nominees or candidates for the Executive Committee position must be a member of the JSGA with Current status for at least one year on or prior to the Record Date November 06, 2015. Nominee/Candidate may refer to the Constitution &/or the By-Laws as amended for complete requirements.
*** Voting Eligibility: Membership must be Current no later than November 06, 2015, as the Record Date is November 06, 2015. Member may refer to the Constitution &/or the By-Laws as amended for complete requirements.

Please call one of the above listed Committee Members in order to email or hand deliver your Nomination form in person. Deadline for submitting the Nomination form is Friday November 13, 2015, 5:00 p.m.
JSGA 2015 EC Election Process Guidelines
1. For voting eligibility, the membership must be current with no past due membership as of 5:00 p.m., November 06, 2015.
2. The candidate for 2016 EC can withdraw his/her nomination by Friday, November 13, 2015, 10:00 p.m. in writing to the Nomination Committee.
3. Member may confirm their membership status &/or voting eligibility with the current Executive Committee between Monday, November 16 through Friday, November 20, 2015, by sending an email to ec@jsgatemple.org no later than 5:00 p.m.
4. Candidates for 2016 EC will be announced to the membership via email and JSGA website on or before Saturday, November 14, 2015.
5. On Sunday, November 15, 2015, Eligible member/voter list will be issued to each Candidate for 2016 EC. The current EC may publish or otherwise make this list available to the membership.
6. Member may email a request for a Blank Absentee Ballot from the Nomination Committee between Monday, November 16, 2015 through Thursday, November 19, 2015, no later than 5:00 p.m. The requester must email a copy of his/her driver license or equivalent photo ID along with the Absentee Ballot Request Form.
7. No later than Monday, November 23, 2015, the Blank Absentee Ballot will be made available to the eligible voter requesting it.
8. The filled absentee ballot form (absentee vote) can be mailed in the sealed envelope or handover in person to any member of the Nomination Committee. The filled absentee ballot form must be received by the Nomination Committee on or before Friday, December 04, 2015, 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
9. The voting in person will have the priority over the filled absentee ballot form (absentee vote).
