Micro Retreat Series

The purpose of the micro retreat series is to help you better integrate spirituality into times not designated specifically to prayer. Each session in this new three-part series will last one hour and will provide time for prayer and spiritual reflection. The first session will be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Learn more and register here.

Come! Live in the Light! - Living a faith filled life means integrating your faith into your personal space. This week, Megan shares some simple ideas for making your dorm room your own sacred space.

Mosque Tour

Students interested in learning more about the role a mosque plays in the lives of Muslims are invited to join Campus Ministry and the Muslim Student Association for a mosque tour on Friday, Nov. 6 at the Islamic Society of Michiana. Student members will provide rides to the mosque from campus. Please RSVP by Thursday, Nov. 5 here.





 

FASO Mass

All are invited to join the Filipino-American Student Organization (FASO) for its first Sunday Mass on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the Keenan-Stanford Chapel. The Mass will include both English and Tagalog translations and will highlight Filipino culture through language and song. Filipino cuisine will be served following Mass.

 

Spring Pilgrimages

Italy: Travel to Rome, Florence and Orvieto to explore the ways in which the religious and cultural imagination are formed through Western Art. Apply by Wednesday, Nov. 4. 
California: Travel to Franciscan missions along the coast of California and reflect upon their legacy in the American Church. Apply by Monday, Nov. 30. 
Spain: Travel the Camino de Santiago, or the Way of St. James, to journey with God and other pilgrims through Spanish towns, churches and castles. Apply by Monday, Nov. 30.

Moreau Lucernarium

One of the most unique opportunities for prayer on campus is a weekly candlelit liturgy at Moreau Seminary called Lucernarium. This form of night prayer is prayed every Thursday evening while classes are in session at 9 p.m. in the Moreau Chapel. Beautiful, peaceful and prayerful, Lucernarium is followed by light snacks and refreshments. Graduate First Friday Dinner

Friday, Nov. 6 marks the next monthly Graduate Student First Friday Fellowship Dinner. All post-baccalaureate students, family and friends are invited to attend the dinner that begins at 6:15 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse Center First-floor Student Lounge. Food and kid-friendly activities will be provided. If you plan to attend, please RSVP by 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 here.





 

Diwali

Join Campus Ministry along with the Indian Association and MSPS for Diwali on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the LaFortune Ballroom. A celebration of the Hindu New Year, Diwali is an evening of prayer, Indian food, Bollywood music and dance. The celebration is a part of the Prayer from Around the World series, which was created to provide a forum in which members of the Notre Dame community can experience different religious traditions. All are welcome to attend.
