As some of you have been made aware, exciting things have been happening in my musical world. Partnering up with my amazingly talented sister Rachel Moss and the team of the largest booking agency in Utah, Greenlight Booking, we've created a new company called Toned Records. While we are still in the early stages of organizing the company, I'm beyond excited about the potential for being a very important Utah company. Toned Records will focus on 3 areas; Artist Development, Artist Management and Artist Promotion. The way that people create, manufacture and consume music has changed dramatically over the past ten years. The reason why people think the music industry is "suffering" or "dying" is because the traditional business model of Record Label being the bankroll, creative controller and owner of product no longer works. Duh. Our business model gives the artist complete control over every aspect of their career. They retain ownership of everything they create. Toned is simply "The Muscle Behind the Music". You'll be the first to know as the company develops and is ready to sign on new artists.

Projects

In this block, I'll be keeping you up to date on all the projects I've been working on. Be sure to support these aspiring artists!

A couple of months ago, I had the privilege of working with two very talented girls on two duets! Maddie Wilson and Madilyn Paige (of The Voice fame) came to Vox Fox Studios to produce these lovely renditions of these popular hits. So far, the videos are doing really well on YouTube. Be sure to check them out and subscribe to their channels!

DRG - David Golden is a talented Singer/Songwriter with an uncanny ability to tell stories and express emotions with ease. He just released his first album that was produced in a rather unusual way. Dave has a home studio so almost all vocals, guitars and bass were recorded by him in his studio. He sent the files electronically to me at which point I put my own personality into the songs with backing vocals, drumbeats, keyboards and then final mixing. No Limits' bass player Paul Jones even played bass on a few tracks. Click on the album art to find him on Facebook.

No Limits has become one of the most popular party dance bands in the country! As I think you all know, I know longer perform with the band (sad face) but I still call them "my band" because I get to produce them! What does that mean? I produce their live audio tracks, help come up with the content for their show and I also got to produce the audio for their super cool new promo video! Watch it here!

Student Successes

Kade Bennet has a couple of very important parts in ALA's upcoming production of "Beauty and the Beast". If you've never seen an ALA production, you are in for a treat. Tickets sell out so be sure to call and order them at 801-794-2226!

Several of my students have gone from "students" to "artists" and are working on creating content to put out to the world! This is very exciting for me as the only thing I love more than teaching is developing a singer to becoming an "artist". I'll be posting websites, video links, etc., as they go live.
