E17 Designers Markets’ Winter Wanderings:

Stop, shop and socialise this Christmas at
E17 Designers' Markets

Turn a corner this Christmas in Walthamstow and you’re sure to find yourself tempted by E17 Designers Markets, offering shoppers every opportunity to browse and buy stylish, hand-crafted and affordable gifts from local designer-makers and artists.

E17 Designers Markets will be showing at several venues across Walthamstow during November and December 2015:

On 27th November at the William Morris Gallery, former home of one of the world’s greatest designer-makers. E17 Designers Markets will be among the exhibitors at the Gallery’s Christmas Shopping Late, which will also include music, entertainment, festive nibbles and mulled wine, plus a children’s trail with prizes –  in the beautiful surroundings of this award-winning museum.

On 29th November and Sunday 6th December at the Asian Centre (Waltham Forest Community Hub), where E17 Designers Markets will once again be staging its hugely popular Christmas fairs. Stop, shop and socialise at the borough’s biggest and best opportunity to buy something special over a free drink, a slice of what you fancy from Suzie’s Kitchen and serenaded the while by local bands The Underclouds and The Stowicks.

From 19 November to 24 December at The Mall, Selborne Walk, Walthamstow, where E17 Designer Markets will be presenting an ever-changing selection of locally designed and made goodies.

Look out for: homewares including fused glass bowls and Christmas decorations • Rustic traditional stoneware ramekins from Useful Pots • Sweet tea-towels and pillow cases by illustrator Karin Akesson • Coats, dresses and more with a Japanese twist from GLOW London and D4Discus • Upcycled appliqué fashion from Queenie and Ted• Leather accessories including watch straps and key rings from SABEL Saddlery • Gold and silver jewellery from designers such as Malcolm Morris, Lauren Grace and Faith Tavender •  Simple bead earrings from vintage bead expert Suzy’s Beads • Letterpress prints by Hooksmith • Siobhan Watts’ screenprints of William Morris Gallery • Eileen Kai Hing Kwan’s delicate drawings – appealing to children as well as adults• Hair and trainer decorations from Gail’s Windy Day • Stacey’s famous Bendy Mod Dolls in a riot of colours and sizes – and much, much more…
