Invitation to an Event on Alcohol Policy at the European Parliament, 17th November 2015, Brussels, Belgium
Dear colleagues,
The EU is the highest-drinking region in the world, with alcohol-related costs amounting to €155.8 billion every year.
There is a causal relationship between alcohol consumption and a range of mental and behavioural disorders, including alcohol dependence, other non-communicable conditions such as liver diseases, some cancers, cardiovascular diseases, as well as injuries resulting from violence and road accidents.
Please join us on the 17th of November at meeting at the European Parliament for an event titled:
"Alcohol - Why is it a big thing?"
