Greetings and Welcome to Our Miksang Institute Event Calendar through July, 2016.  We have some new offerings in the mix for next year!

Our Kyoto, Japan 10-day intensive covering the first three courses of Miksang Training is starting to fill up. We have 20 spaces and half of those are reserved for Japanese participants. If you are considering signing up, please see the details on our Miksang in Kyoto page and secure your place if you want to join us.

This year the Miksang Summer Institute includes all Five Courses!

This year, at the  2016 Summer Institute we will be offering the first three courses of the Miksang Training Curriculum back to back. Then for students who have completed Heart of Perception in past years, we will be teaching Space: Further Dimensions of Perception and Cutting Loose: Floating Free.

Space and Cutting Loose are only offered every other year, so if you have been waiting for them, don’t miss this rare  opportunity!

New Discounted Price for Returning Students

If you have previously studied Miksang, we invite you to come back and refresh your experience of previous courses. Our workshops are continually evolving with new exercises and refinements. Visit 2016 Summer Institute and our Workshops Page to find out about discounts for returning students.

For the first time, there will be a two-day tutorial before the Summer Institute begins for people who need some personal training in how to use their camera with confidence.  Subjects to be covered for each participant will be the best camera settings for your camera, point of focus, depth of field, and exposure. On the second day we will go through how to transfer your images to a USB stick and edit them on your laptop. Mac users only, please. The cost per participant is $200. Minimum and maximum number per instructor is five. If you want to register for this, please email us at info@miksanginstitute.com.

Michael Wood and Julie DuBose will be teaching a Four-Day Making Contact course in Boulder over Easter Weekend, March 24-28th.

This will be the only Making Contact course scheduled in the USA until
the 2016 Summer Intensive. Returning students are eligible for a tuition discount.
