Never doubt November

My last update was titled Stressful September.  Somehow September and October both flew by - both with a lot of stress.  And it seems November has plenty of it's own busy-ness and unplanned adjustments to my preferred mostly scheduled life.

Regardless of what lies ahead, I want this next season to be one of hoping, not of doubting.  One of remembering God's faithfulness, not of only seeing the impossible.  One of thanking God for his present and future blessings to me, not of questioning His plans for me. I know this mindset will only be possible by God's grace.

Will you join me in hoping, remembering, and thanking?
I'd love to hear a brief story of how God has been faithful to you this past week or month, or year!

Here's some of what I hope to accomplish the following over the next two months.  We'll see what the Lord leads me through, and what is on His agenda for me to accomplish.
- guide Jenelle, Rachel, Emilee, Stephanie and Blaise as they finish their assignments well overseas and return home over the next two months
- mentor James and Edwina (Ethiopia), David and Kris (S. Asia), as they continue in their assignments through February, 2016.
- prepare Joanna, Nick and Deborah to leave the states and enter into 3 different assignments overseas
- daily train 3 colleagues "on-the-job" in the processes of sending interns and volunteers overseas
- learn a new processing system to be used with all of our applicants
- speak at Cornerstone PCA, (Landenburg, PA) kids Sunday school and service on Sunday Nov 15
- continue serving our church-plant in women's ministry coordinating, and life group connecting
- daily surrendering and submitting myself to the Lord in all things
We had a surprise 40th birthday party for Jason on Friday night that was a success!!  He had NO IDEA!  It was a blast planning the surprise and was truly wonderful to have my parents help me with all the preparations!

I'm blessed beyond anything I could measure to be married to Jason.  I count it my highest privilege and greatest gift in this life.  Thank you Lord!
