Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall is pleased to announce that her Chief Deputy, Amelia Craig Cramer, has been elected to membership in the prestigious American Law Institute (ALI).
ALI is an independent non-profit organization whose members are law professors, lawyers, and judges from the United States. The purpose of ALI is to help modernize, clarify, and improve the law (
http://www.ali.org). Cramer is one of four new ALI members from Arizona whose membership was announced in October 2015, along with 69 others from across the United States.
Cramer was appointed by LaWall in 2006 to serve as her Chief Deputy and assists LaWall in supervising more than 100 attorneys who prosecute criminal cases on behalf of the state and handle civil legal matters on behalf of Pima County, as well as victim advocates, detectives, diversion program staff, and 88-CRIME anonymous tip line staff.
