"Kambalda Geology Symposium held on 21 October 2015 was a great success with around 70 geologists from the surrounding mines and exploration projects attending. It was the first time this event has been held since 2008 and the first hosted at the fantastic facilities on offer at the Kambalda Recreation Centre.  Many speakers were presenting for the first time and all were impressive with a wide variety of topics from local mine geology targeting Ni Sulphides to the latest technology in down hole optical viewing tools, geo-metallurgy and best practise data management principles . 
It was very encouraging to meet with so many young people who appreciated the event and the opportunity to meet geologists from the surrounding projects, and of course to enjoy a drink together afterwards.  Expedio would like to thank all attendees and the co-sponsors Cube Consulting and BMGS for their efforts in making the day enjoyable and productive for all.  We hope to see you all again next year."
