Message from the Editor:
Another short newsletter - there has been lots of well deserved news to publish - but I just haven't had time do to the stories. Next newsletter should have a few more items in it.
Of course the big talk at the moment is the Eudunda Show. Please come and support the local show and be proud of what our small district can do. The show compares very well - even against bigger towns and regions and we have lots of exciting things for you and your family to see and do this year.

The 2015 Young Farmer Challenge - Regional Finals to be at Eudunda

The Farmers Challenge has just got bigger and better this year, The Northern Areas Show Association (NASA) Regional Finals will be held at the Eudunda Show this year. They will be held after the local competition. Should be great to watch.

Great Prizes for Young Farmer Challenge 2015

The Farmers Challenge at Eudunda will have its event at 4pm on the Oval. Virtually the whole show stops to watch and barrack for thier favourite teams. 
Prize Money of $200 up for grabs and lots of other vouchers and gift packs, so plenty of try for.

The event is run by the "Next Generation Group" all young people who have a vision to support rural shows and have fun. One of thier members - Tex Hall will be on the PA for the event.

Land Management Team offer Soil Matching at Show

Celebrating the International Year of Soil.
Come to  the Eudunda Show on Sunday & visit the Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin -  Land Management team at thier marquee. Match your soil to our soils map. 

Catch up with other Soil Samples in the Eudunda Show Hall where there will be a display of local soil profiles and other items relating to the soil.

The Gustav Treasure Trail as also celebrating by having seed packets - one of vegetables and the other of native plants for the kids to plant.

Next Generation Group hold 'End of Year Catchup' at Eudunda

The Young Farmer Challenge event held in many country shows in Australia is run by the "Next Generation Group" - a young people who have a vision to support rural shows and have fun.

This year they are going to hold thier end of year catchup celebrations in Eudunda.

Biggest Gustav Trail ever for the kids

Gustav Trail organiser Jenny Herriman says there will be 16 Gustav Trail stops this year., more than ever before.  The trail should be good value with lots to do for the kids.

Eudunda Golf Club have a stop with active participation
This year it will include a stop with the Eudunda Golf Club having a chance to do some putting and some hits in the new practice nets for all who join in the trail, they also have some prizes to win.

Come down tot he Eudunda Golf Club - Southern end of the Oval to get started on the trail - the $5 cost of joining will fill your bag with goodies and you will see a bit part of the show along the trail.

Jed Dunstan Bale 2016 Calendar out now

Local cartoonist Jed Dunstan's Bale 2016 Calendar is available now - through Just Shearing.
Jed's work can be seen on some of the posters for the Eudunda Show and his is published weekly in the "Stock Journal"
