Meet Realiti. Realiti is a 4th grader at Hamilton Elementary and is enrolled in our Scholar Sessions and Super Scholardays programs. She loves to play kickball, tag, and hide and go seek with her friends at Freedom Arts, but can often be found sitting quietly drawing pictures of animals and houses. When she’s not playing or drawing, Realiti is extremely helpful with the other scholars and reliable when it comes to doing her chores and completing the tasks assigned to her. Realiti shows maturity and serenity beyond her years. Realiti is happy to be a part of Freedom Arts, saying “I like that we do different things and learn different things than we do at school.” She says that she loves spending time reading with her tutors Abby and Erin. She also says that she likes our ROCKS acronym, which encourages our scholars to conduct themselves with respect, ownership, cooperation, kindness, and safety. “We know what’s right to do,” she says. Realiti attended our first ever Freedom Arts Camp last summer and particularly enjoyed chalk art with Ms. Chelsea and music production with Mr. Muhammad. Her goals for this school year are to strengthen her reading skills, learn new drawing techniques, and to become an even more effective leader. She also has goals for Freedom Arts as an organization: “I want to come to Freedom Arts more often, get our own building, and take more field trips.”
When you support Freedom Arts, you are supporting Realiti, Tysean, Krista, and their peers. You are helping them accomplish their goals. Donate any time on our website. You can also donate by attending the 2nd Annual St. Louis Trivia Night next Friday!
