Open House Recap
Thank you to everyone who helped make our Open House so successful! Our staff enjoyed meeting and visiting with everybody who was able to come by. If you weren’t able to make it, please feel free to stop by for a tour. In fact, we are big advocates for fear free visits, so bring your pet for a low stress visit filled with plenty of petting and treats!

We have an open door policy and want you to be comfortable with leaving your pets with us if needed.

Halloween Pet Safety
Make it a 'Purrfectly' Happy 'Howl-oween'
It’s the time of year where we look forward to cooler weather, festive fall colors, soups, and other tasty treats. You have probably stocked up on Halloween candy for your neighborhood trick-or-treaters. Remember that tasty Halloween treats are not for our canine and feline companions. Candy, especially chocolate, is toxic to animals and can cause vomiting, restlessness, heart disturbances, and even death. Even grapes and raisins, although healthy for us to eat, can be potentially deadly to dogs. Make sure candy is stowed out of reach and tell children to not share their goodies with their pets. (But remind them that they're welcome to share their treats with you!)
Also, be mindful of the increased foot traffic and commotion in the neighborhood. Ensure that your pets are supervised and remember that loud and excessive noise can frighten your cat or dog. Ask us about strategies to reduce fear in these situations – we have lots of suggestions! Finally, be sure that any decorations are safe from the paws and teeth of curious pets.
We hope that you have a happy and safe Halloween!

Rehabilitation Programs
Now Available!
We are excited to announce the opening of our rehabilitation programs! If your pet suffers from chronic pain, has any orthopedic or neurological issues, please ask us about our rehab programs which can address pain as well as increase strength, flexibility, proprioception and range of motion. Additionally, we incorporate strategies to prevent future injury. We use modalities such as therapeutic laser, acupuncture, massage, therapeutic exercise, hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill), chinese herbs and other supplements, as well as nutrition to address the specific needs of your pet.

Additionally, if your pet is very active or competitive in sports, having a targeted exercise program can enhance performance and help to reduce injury. Please call if you have any questions about our services!

Acupuncture services
Acupuncture is an effective tool in many areas of veterinary medicine. The goal of acupuncture is to promote the body to heal itself and keep the body in balance. Acupuncture involves the insertion of needles into body tissue where nerve bundles and blood vessels reside that are called acupuncture points. These run throughout the body via meridians (energy channels). Acupuncture enhances blood circulation, stimulates the nervous system, and releases both anti-inflammatory and pain relieving hormones. One of the benefits of acupuncture is that it can be used in conjunction with any conventional therapy.
Full-service grooming
