Volunteers Needed for Finals Survival Week Pancake Breakfast
Arizona Student Unions is excited to host the Finals Survival Week Pancake Breakfast as part of the division’s efforts to help students best navigate the final exam period.
Thursday, December 10
9 - 11 p.m.
Three Locations: Cactus Grill (SUMC), Park Student Union and Bear Down Kitchen
In past semesters, we have served about 2,500 students, so the support from our colleagues in SAEM/AISS has been critical to the success of this event.
We are again seeking volunteers to help the staff at each location. Volunteers will need to arrive by 8 p.m. and stay through the event wrap up, and roles will include everything from managing lines to serving students.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer registration form by Wednesday, December 2.
Contact Todd Millay or Joshua Steele with any questions.
Children's Book Drive at UA BookStores Through Dec. 18
This holiday season, help give the gift of reading to young children in our community. Join UA BookStores in supporting Make Way for Books, an early-literacy organization in Tucson that provides children throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona with access to books.
You can help by bringing in any gently used or new children's books from November 7 through December 18 to our participating UA BookStores locations: SUMC, Main Gate, Wildcat Threads, AHSC, and the A-Stores at McKale, Tucson Mall, Park Place & Downtown. We'll also have reduced price books to purchase and donate on the spot. For store locations, visit the Holiday Book Drive event page.
