Abigail Burd, LCSW

In Gratitude

It has now been over two years since I started this private practice in San Diego, and I wanted to take the time to say that I am so sincerely grateful to all of the people who have made it what it is...

  • Thank you to my clients who have trusted me with their lives.
  • Thank you to fellow providers for their collaboration and referrals.
  • Thank you to the readers and subscribers who have found my posts online helpful.
  • Thank you to friends and family for support and encouragement.
  • And thank you to my husband and children for their unconditional love.

In Case You Missed It...

Some of my top moments in 2015:
  • The tremendous growth and successes of my clients -- I can't tell you about them but they make me smile!
  • Expanding and hiring Briana Kilian, MFTI, who specializes in trauma, anxiety and depression in children, teens and adults.
  • Expanding specialties to include my longtime interests in addiction, helping professionals, and students.
  • Receiving the 2015 San Diego Award for Best Psychotherapist
  • Serving on the executive board of the Postpartum Health Alliance and managing their communications and social media.
  • My "Inside Out" Study Guides for teens and children going "viral" on Pinterest with thousands of shares.
  • Appearing on TV to talk about preventing Postpartum Depression (video below.)

Want to collaborate in 2016?

  • One of the best posts on my blog this year was written by a guest: Reframing Motherhood (The Photo that Doesn't Get Posted.)
  • I wrote guests posts for Ergobaby and curated the Postpartum Health Alliance blog
  • Lindsay of Nutrition Instincts interviewed me for her site.
  • Drop me a line if you want to collaborate or be included in my resources and links! I plan to add a page to my website this year.

CALL FOR A FREE CONSULTATION

I am happy to consult by phone at anytime. If I am not a good fit for you, I'll find one! Many times I simply offer free resources in the community. Some are also comforted after talking with me by knowing they have at least one friendly place to turn if things get harder.                          -Abby (619-289-7818)
Curious about what people think of my counseling? So far so good on Yelp.
