Seeking New Nominations for Secretary and Treasurer

Oops, we forgot to check the election cycle for Secretary and Treasurer when we sent out our Call for Nominations.  After reviewing meeting minutes from the past few years, we realized that the terms of the current Secretary and Treasurer are up.  

We apologize missing this in our first announcement.

We have an open call for nominations for 5 Board Members, Secretary, Treasurer, and President Elect.  Board members, Secretary, and Treasurer each serve two years.  President Elect will serve a total of four years, two as President Elect and two as President.

To nominate someone other than yourself, please send name, affiliation, suggested position, and contact information. A member of the Nomination Committee will contact that person to verify interest in the position.

To self nominate, please send your name, affiliation, contact information, position sought, and a short statement (100-200 words) about your background with invasive species and what you feel you would bring to the OkIPC Board. 

Nominations will be accepted until December 10th and made public after the 4th quarter Board meeting on December 11th.  Elections will be conducted electronically in January.
