With their win Eastern Connecticut has advanced directly onto the NSCRO Champions Cup Region 1 Championship. They will also be acting as the hosts of this round on November 21st and 22nd. The University of Maine- Orono also has another shot at making it through to the regionals if they can beat Plattsburgh State this weekend in a NSCRO qualifier match.
Salem State will also be in action this weekend as they take on Canisius in the Challenger Cup Northeast Regional. The winner will advance onto the NSCRO East Coast Challengers Championship at Mount St. Mary's University (Emmitsburg, MD) on December 5th and 6th.
Best of luck to both Salem State and the University of Maine- Orono as they take the pitch this weekend!
