PR Boost Preview
By: Kaitlyn Viater, Linhart PR
PR Boost is my favorite PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Colorado event of the year. It gives local nonprofits the opportunity to pick the brains of Denver’s experienced PR pros to gain learnings and insights that will positively – and immediately – impact their organizations’ communications efforts.
On the flip side, PRSA Colorado members with 5+ years of experience benefit from spending a morning donating their counsel and advice to the organizations who work so hard to make our community a better place.

PRSA Colorado member inducted into the College of Fellows
PRSA Colorado member Sara Spaulding, APR, Fellow PRSA, market development manager of Century Link Colorado was formally inducted into the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) College of Fellows November 7 in Atlanta, Ga.
Earlier in the year, Spaulding and 14 members of the Public Relations Society of America were approved by the Board of Directors for acceptance into the organization’s prestigious College of Fellows.
Founded in 1989, the College of Fellows is a community of less than 350 senior PRSA members who have successfully advanced the public relations profession and distinguished themselves through their leadership in the public relations industry. In order qualify for admittance into the College of Fellows, the public relations practitioner or educator must have at least 20 years of experience, hold the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential and have demonstrated exceptional capability and accomplishment in the practice or teaching of public relations. College of Fellows members also must exhibit personal and professional qualities that make them role models for other practitioners or educators. Less than two percent of PRSA members are accepted into the College of Fellows.
A selection committee, consisting of current College of Fellows members, solicited and reviewed applications and recommended this year’s group of candidates to the PRSA 2015 National Board of Directors.
