CONTACT: /NOTES: DCYF, the Our Children, Our Families Council, and the Office of Early Care & Education will hold Community Input Meetings in every San Francisco district in November and December in order to learn what the City and the school district can do to better support families and children. Community members of all types are invited to the meetings, and are welcome to attend meetings in their own district and elsewhere. *Food, childcare, and interpretation services in Spanish and Chinese will be offered at every meeting. Our Children, Our Families Council,* a new effort led by the Mayor and Superintendent to coordinate efforts across the city, school district and community to improve outcomes for children, youth and families in San Francisco, invites you to share your input as the Council develops its goals and measures of success. The Council is hosting meetings for representatives from networks, collaborative, advisory entities, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders that focus on children, youth, transitional age youth, and family issues to share their input. At each meeting, participants will learn more about the new Council and have opportunities to provide input on the goals and measures it will use to guide its work over the next five years. The Council will hold this stakeholder input meeting at three different dates and times to help ensure interested parties can participate.
