Join us November 15 for two very special services, focusing on
both the Old Testament sacraments (8:30) and New Testament sacrament of Jesus (11:00), with a reception between services for new members and those being baptized.

Community Meals:
Our next Community Meal will be offered on Wednesday, November 4 from 5-7 P.M. We are looking for volunteers for this community outreach effort. Please see Linda Matlock, Lyle Helvie, Heather Lofgren, the Millers, or the Rose/Wesley families to find out where your talents could be utilized. There are many ways to help, whether it be by preparing, baking, serving, or cleaning.
Thank you for your willingness to serve. Our next meal will be Thursday, November 19.

The Fine Arts Academy will be presenting
Mulan Jr., November 13-15. This show is sold out. There are a limited number of tickets that will be sold at the door.
Operation Christmas Child:
Please place donations in the Christmas box in the lobby. We still need pencils, coloring books, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, wide-toothed combs, pencil sharpeners, crayons, sewing kits, and
LOTS AND LOTS OF TOYS!!! We will have a Pizza & Packing Party on November 15 at 6:00.
Christmas Variety Show:
If you would like to participate in this year's Variety Show, please let Laura Helvie or Amy Hyman know, along with what act you'd like to do, by Thanksgiving weekend. The Variety Show is an opportunity for us to gather together and enjoy relief from holiday stress, while sharing song, talent, skits, and more.
Angel Tree:
The Deacons would like your support during their upcoming Angel Tree Program. This program provides Christmas gifts for local children with an incarcerated parent. The Angel Tree, decorated with gift idea tags, will be located in the lobby beginning November 22.
A CGC Family Thanksgiving:
Maybe your family lives too far for you to travel, maybe they all went away for the holiday, or maybe you'd just like to not have to host this year! Whatever the reason, we'd love to have you join us at 1:00 on Thanksgiving Day for a "CGC Family Thanksgiving!" Turkey will be provided. Please sign up in the lobby if you'd like to attend, and also list what side dish or dessert you'd like to bring. Hope to see you there!

Bake Sale and "Hanging of the Greens"
Need some fresh baked items for the holidays? Then stop by Fellowship Hall on Sunday, November 22 at 9:15 A.M. to Noon, and purchase some homemade cakes, pies, cookies and other goodies. Then, plan to return at 4:00 P.M. for the "Hanging of the Greens!"
Stew Cook-Off - November 22 at 5:30 P.M.
This year's WCF Cook-Off will feature stew, instead of the chili and soup we've had in the past two years. Prizes will be given to the Judges' Winner and the Peoples Choice Winner. Tickets are $5 each or $15 per family. Chef's entry forms and tickets are available in the lobby between services. Volunteer judges are needed.
Flowers for Sunday Morning
A new form is available for anyone wanting to bring flowers for a given Sunday in honor of and/or in memory of a special person or event. See the form on the new Welcome Center.
