On September 23rd, Casa Batlló projected the wildest mapping of all Barcelona on its facade. Awakening the Dragon, in the city was colorful and vibrant and marked a performance of music and most impressive light desplay that lit up the night. About 20,000 people came to number 43 Passeig de Grà cia, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Casa Batlló, a UNESCO World Heritage. The audience all gathered around and enjoyed a representation of one the liveliest of the legends, that involves the creative work of Antoni GaudÃ.

ADULTS AND CHILDREN: A RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY IN THE STREETS

Casa Batllo celebrates the European Heritage Days for another year. One of the activities that took place on September 10th at Casa Batllo, was to conduct a large mural, made of recyclable and sustainable materials. Young and old enjoyed coloring, gluing and cutting, and if this were not enough, the ten young winning artists of a drawing competition went inside the house and enjoyed a magical theatrical tour. It was an honor for the children and their parents who had a fun day learning and playing.

Lego does it all

Who would tell Mr. Josep Batllo that his house could be built with LEGO pieces? With how difficult it was for him to get permission to do the building work! Well, it could soon become a reality, as a great admirer of this great work, Ivelina Krusteva has presented a project to build a LEGO house with particular pieces of colored plastic, namely 1621 pieces in total.
