ATCON Sets Broadband Agenda for President Muhammadu Buhari
The Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) celebrated its 21st anniversary on the 30^th October 2015. It was a grand event. ATCON, through its President, Engineer Lanre Ajayi, urged the Federal Government to improve broadband penetration in the country. Domain Name Report – January to October 2015
The domain name registration in October 2015 was higher compared to the registrations in the past three months of this year. The renewal rate hovered around the same figure as the previous month. In general, from January to October 2015, 18,292 new domain names were registered, 12,612 domain names were renewed and so in total, 30,904 domain names were registered and renewed. In total there are about 60,000.00 (sixty thousand) active and inactive domain names in NiRA database.
