Organ Recital This Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., David Wills will offer a program of organ music, to relax and center yourself as we enter the holiday season. Please invite any music-loving friends. Free will donations go to the organ fund.

Church School this Sunday Adults have two groups to choose from: part five of the Embracing Spiritual Awakening series: “Awakening†in Schmidt Hall or Living the Questions in the Fireside Room. Children meet upstairs for a lesson about sharing from A Joyful Path.
Hanging of the Greens Nov. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Join your church family for an all-church event. We will be decorating the church for the Advent/Christmas Season. Bring finger foods to share.
Thanksgiving Pies Bring pies for Portland Rescue Mission’s Thanksgiving dinner to MPC on Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 9 – 11 a.m. Checks marked for Thanksgiving pies are also welcome. Gather in the kitchen after church Nov. 22 to make pies and help with the Hanging of the Greens.

Fall Grounds Spruce Up! Come beautify the grounds at MPC and show the neighborhood how much we love our church. We will rake leaves, plant new plants, pull weeds, and prune bushes. Bring a rake, gloves, a friend and your family and join in preparing the grounds of the church for winter. Pizza to follow!
Sheltering Our Neighbor Network From Nov. 15 – 29 MPC will host families who are on the waiting list to stay at the Annie Ross House. Volunteers needed to provide and host evening meals, provide breakfast and lunch, host overnight at the church and do laundry. Talk to Kevin Bixby or Linda Marquam for details.
