Missions Sunday
Join us this Sunday, November 15 as we have one service at 10:00 a.m. for Missions Sunday. This is our annual celebration of how God is building His kingdom all around the world and close to home. You won't want to miss this opportunity to hear how God has been using different people in missions, speak with ministry partners, and much more. David Engelhart, director of Christian Challenge at New Mexico State University will be our guest speaker for the day. Invite your friends to experience Northstar's commitment to our region and the world as they hear about our heart for our neighbors and the nations. Reminder: We will have one service at 10 a.m. for the rest of November!

Saturday Seminary
This Saturday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Northstar Ministry Center, we're offering an incredible opportunity to deepen your understanding and application of scripture led by guest speaker David Englehart. David will be teaching on The Roots of Endurance, helping us to learn how to "stick it out" - whether that be in ministry, career, marriage, or friendships. Bags of Joy
This is Northstar's fourth year to partner with area foster care agencies to help ensure that foster children in our region are blessed with a special Christmas! Bags of Joy is a special ministry which reaches out to foster children in Montgomery, Giles, and Pulaski Counties. Our effort to fill these bags with goodies for Christmas will launch this Sunday, Missions Sunday, and is a wonderful, practical expression of Jesus' love and is an encouragement to foster parents during the Christmas season.

December Nights
December Nights is just around the corner! All throughout December, Northstar Church will not have Sunday morning services. That's right, all month, we'll meet on Sunday evenings! This will be our 7th year celebrating the gift of God in Christ as we focus on the theme of Rest. Reflect. Rejoice. Renew. We hope you'll join us for one of our favorite Northstar traditions!

Member Meeting
Our next Member Meeting will be this Sunday, November 15. Be with us at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church as we'll be discussing how we move forward from our Immeasurably More series and present the budget for 2016. Don't miss this time of encouragement and celebration in the life of Northstar Church.

Home Away From Home
We love our college students at Northstar Church and are always looking for new ways to support and help them to Be the Church. While our students have a place to live, most do not experience the blessing of a true home while they are away at school. The goal of Home Away from Home is to minister to college students by providing a meal, intentional time of fellowship with a family, and a place to relax. New Small Group Study
During this past week, most Northstar small groups will begin engaging in conversations about the "lostness" that exists all around us. Our groups will look in scripture and use a resource titled I Once Was Lost. Find a small group by clicking below.

GAPsGiving is This Saturday!

Can you taste it yet? The turkey? The stuffing? The sweet potatoes? The pumpkin pie? It's almost time for GAP's 6th annual GAPsgiving dinner held at Fieldstone UMC! Join us this Saturday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. and prepare for a good time with great food and awesome people. Bring friends and some food to share, just be sure to sign up here to let us know what you're bringing. And if someone else is already making it, you should just make it anyway. We can't have too much of a good thing!

College Thanksgiving Feast!
Fall colors, great food, time with family, and getting to slow down are some of the things we look forward to when we think of the holiday season. For the first time, Northstar will host a Thanksgiving Feast for our college students. It's going to be a fun filled evening with amazing Thanksgiving foods and a few Thanksgiving themed games. Join us this Monday, November 16 at 6:00 p.m. at the Northstar Ministry Center. Be sure to RSVP here to let us know you're coming! And if you're not a college student but would like to help out by providing food, you can let us know what you would like to make here!

Gingerbread Nativity

All families and children's ministry volunteers are invited to join us on Saturday, December 5 from 10:00 a.m. until noon as we celebrate the meaning of Christmas--Jesus' birth! We will read the Christmas story together and create gingerbread nativity scenes that you can take home. We hope to see you there!
