As a subscriber to the LANDFIRE Bulletin, you are invited to collaborate with us as we update and improve a key LANDFIRE product, Biophysical Settings (BpS) Models and Descriptions. Starting November 2015, we begin the first formal, complete review of all models since they were developed and delivered nearly a decade ago. 
 
You may review any BpS you wish at your convenience and in your office. We have set up a website that contains all the information needed to complete the BpS reviews, to send comments back to the TNC LANDFIRE team and, ultimately, to contribute to a product that influences vegetation management across the U.S.
 
While BpS models and descriptions are important internally to the LANDFIRE Program, they are also used across in the nation in a spectacular array of applications and landscapes. Your wisdom and experience are crucial to improving this unique ecological product, so please go the www.landfirereview.org to understand what we are trying to do and why, and to get started.
