NOVEMBER UPDATE

Dear Dancers,
Is is already November? This year has just flown by! November is a great month because it means we are that much closer to Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday!) but more importantly one month closer to our Holiday Spirit Contest! Start planning now because the dancer with the most holiday spirit at the December Dayton Dance will win free admission to the January dance! All contestants will be entered into a raffle for another great prize.
And while we're on the topic of greatness, Great Bear Trio, Maivish, and Buddy System are coming to a town near you! Namely Dayton. And they're coming for a fantastic weekend of music and contra dance. Put it on your calendar! January 15-17 is the Shenandoah Shindig. The link to register can be found below.
Are you local? Have a "spare 'oom", extra bed, cot, floor space, hammock? If you said yes to any or all and are interested in hosting an out of town guest attending the Shindig, follow the appropriate link found below this wildly entertaining letter.
Non-profit news: Bylaws are written and the paperwork (yes, poor Larry) is underway. We are very excited about this transition and are so glad we can count on your support this year as we move to make contra dancing in the valley bigger and better than ever!
Dayton Days was a blast and we can't thank the volunteers enough! Time is precious and we are so glad you let us have a little bit of your Saturday afternoon. Check out the pictures in the calendar above.
Speaking of Saturdays, we hope to see you Saturday, November 14 at the Dayton Learning Center for another evening of great dancing! Doors open at 7:00 pm.
