Direct Drive Results
Thank you to the 260 participants and all of the volunteers who supported this year's Direct Drive! The PTA is truly grateful for your support of enrichment programs at Lawton. While we did not ultimately reach our fundraising goal of $145,000, the Direct Drive saw an inspiring 80% participation rate, which raised $110,000! These funds will be dispersed immediately toward programs and events like the upcoming STEAM Challenge, the Kindergarten Cookie Social, the Family Fun Dance, and Math and Mingle Night.  In order to continue the incredible programs we have here at Lawton with no interruption for our kids, we will access the reserve funds for anything not covered by the direct drive.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

In addition, thanks to the Participation Challenge generously coordinated and managed by Ms. Parks, the following classes have earned extra rollerblading time in PE by achieving the highest participation rate in each of the following class bands:

Kindergarten - 1st grade: Mr. Conner's class with 90% participation!

2nd - 3rd grade: Mrs. Misner's class and Mrs. Wong's class, both with 100% participation!

4th - 5th grade: Mrs. Ulmer's class with 88% participation!

Once again, a sincere thank you to the entire Lawton community for your support and effort to bring enrichment programs to Lawton students. If you have any feedback about how to improve next year's Direct Drive, please reach out to our PTA Fundraising Chair, Terry Richardson.
