VBIC Supports U-VET

The Victorian Biomedical Imaging Capability (VBIC) provides a coordinated network of capabilities and research capacity in medical imaging to support universities and medical institutes such as U-VET and its Equine Centre. The $25M investment by the Victorian State Government and the grant recipients, will provide the Victorian biomedical imaging research community with access to cutting-edge imaging equipment. Without this infrastructure, facilities such as U-VET would be unable to pursue research and development facilities that are available in other leading biomedical disciplines.

A Current Affair Highlights The Flory Alzheimer's Trial

Research trials conducted by the Florey are highlighted on the 30th October edition of A Current Affair. There is new hope for people at risk of developing Alzheimer's disease with new trials that show promise to slow the onset and progression of symptoms. More information about the A4 study clinical trial for older individuals who may be at risk for Alzheimer's disease can be found on the Florey website or by phoning the hotline on 1800 443 253.
