Announcements


The University is undergoing its 10-year reaccreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).  As part of this process, Columbia is undertaking discussion and self-study to explore the topic of the globalization of a Columbia education. The Office of the Provost invites feedback about the draft of the self-study. The draft and feedback forms are both available here. Feedback is due by tomorrow, Nov. 10, 2015.

CUMC benefits-eligible employees must enroll in 2016 benefits by Nov. 20. Those who do not make elections for 2016 will be automatically re-enrolled in current 2015 elections for medical, vision, dental, Transit/Parking Reimbursement Program (T/PRP).

Flu vaccination is offered for free to faculty and staff through Workforce Health & Safety. CUMC faculty, staff, and volunteers who work in NYP hospital space who are considering declining the vaccination will be required to take an educational course about influenza, and those who choose to decline after the course must sign a declination form. The deadline for being vaccinated or signing a declination is Nov. 20, 2015.
