President's Message
As I sit to write my last message to our Chamber of Commerce, I am reminded of all of the hard work and contributions which have been made by our Board of Directors and Membership. We have made tremendous progress and have established ourselves for a successful future.
In November, we made our final payment, to bring the Twinsburg Area Chamber of Commerce out of substantial debt which we had incurred several years ago. The groundwork is complete, and the future appears to be bright. We have updated our By-Laws and created a scholarship program for the Twinsburg City Schools, which will be in effect beginning this Spring.
Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of individual volunteers, who have stepped up to meet and exceed every challenge during my 2-year tenure. I am proud of the work that has been done and the resulting successes we have experienced. I feel confident that this will not only continue, but will make our Chamber an even better organization.
A special "Thank You" goes out to our business owners who have contributed financial and other assistance, which has been a big part of our progress. Members have donated time, food and other products, services, luncheon sponsorships and moral support.
At the same time, we have become committed to listen to our members, and offer programs that are meaningful and relevant to them. We continue to seek input on the direction we should proceed, in order to provide valuable programs and services to our Chamber.
Meanwhile, as we look forward to a busy December, we have some important reminders for your calendar: December 4 - Join us for "First Friday Networking ON THE GO"!
