Annual Fundraiser - 25th Anniversary!

Join us to celebrate 25 years of enriching the Arlington Public Schools.  Special AEF grant guest speakers include:

  Artisits and Educators, Art. Food. Community.
Suggested donation: $100/person; $150/couple

AEF Technnology Initiative Awards Additional $106,000 

Over the summer, AEF's three year Technology Initiative came to a close.  We raised $106,000 in our third and final year - and a grand total of $190,000.  New this year, the High School has a Digital Arts Lab and Mobile Scientific Workstations.  In addition, we funded additional equipment for the award winning Tech program at the Ottoson Middle School. 

Continuing Scholars Award Profile:
Trauma, Body and the Brain: Restoring the Capacity for Rhythm and Play

Over the summer, Meagan Burke, a Social worker at Dallin School, attended a workshop on the importance of rhythm and play to help children recover from trauma and develop skills for coping with daily stress.  Read more about Ms. Burke's experience and how she has already taught Dallin students the concept of mindfulness through 'healing flowers'. 

STARS Program Goes Online
