Hi everyone
A quick note!

2) Environment Protection Regulations Review
Update and consultation
Victoria’s Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) are reviewing the Environment Protection (Scheduled Premises and Exemptions) Regulations 2007 before they expire in mid-2017.

The Regulations cover a range of industrial and commercial activities with the potential for significant environmental impacts, and prescribe which premises are required to:
  •      obtain an EPA works approval
  •      obtain an EPA licence
  •      provide a financial assurance
Further information about the Regulations and the review is available on DELWP and EPA websites, including a discussion paper published by DELWP and EPA which outlines the scope of the Regulations and issues for consideration.
Submit feedback
The Discussion Paper is open for comment until 14 December 2015, and submissions can be made via our online questionnaire or as a written submission — access more information, view a submission template, and submit feedback here.
Next steps
Comments received on the questions in the Discussion Paper will help to inform the development of a regulatory impact statement and a draft of the proposed new Regulations, which are expected to be published in late 2016.

4) BCRG Advertising and ongoing publicity and posters
We have produced a promotional poster for BCRG and put a few up in community centres in Yarraville and south of the freeway but it would be great to get them posted in more places. If you would like to put a poster up the document is available on the Brooklynip website.
  • Other ways you can help is to use this text and the links to the website and Facebook in your promotional material/social media.
