Looks like winter is here, despite the calendar's insistence that it's still fall. Please, no debilitating back injuries from shoveling snow!
I've got a couple of notes for you this time around. First up on the list is the "BlackFridayGolfSale" being held at the Country Hills Golf Club (NW Calgary), November 19th through 22nd. This event features a number of clubs from Calgary and area, including Country Hills, Silver Springs, Lakeside Greens, Stewart Creek, Cottonwood, Golden Golf Club, Inglewood... too many to list! And finally... over the years, I've written a number of golf tips for various publications, including many for the golf section of the Calgary Herald. It's always been something I've enjoyed doing, but over the years, the articles themselves got kind of scattered around; some on this USB stick, some over here, some over there... finally this fall I resolved to bring them all together and file them in one place. I took the best of them and turned them into a "book" - and in the spirit of the season, I'd like to share it with you.
