Chigwell School Pre-Prep pupils compete in charity run
Chigwell School Pre-Prep children and staff took part in a mini-marathon run to support Cancer Research UK, one of the school's chosen charities.
Chigwell School Development Manager Gill Punt said: "There was a great deal of enthusiasm as well as a considerable amount of loud cheering during the energetic and enjoyable mini-marathon.
"They walked, jogged and ran along a route through the school’s grounds.
"Pupils also wanted to show their support for the 100 or so staff, parents and Old Chigwellians who recently took part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.
"They were delighted with the running workshop which preceded the event and especially pleased with their medals!"
Their efforts raised about £200 for the charity.
