NCSPA Holds November Board Meeting
The NCSPA board of directors held their fall board meeting on Nov. 12-13, 2015. Business included  updates on the N.C. State University College of Agriculture and Life Science Crop Science Department, communications and outreach activities of the association, resources development and advocacy. The board also discussed the new strategic direction of NCSPA research projects and investments, as well as the hiring of a full-time research coordinator. The board will convene again in January at the North Carolina Commodities Conference.

Continue celebrating the 50th anniversary of the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association at the Soybean Producers Forum! The association will host its annual Forum during the Southern Farm Show on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. in the Martin Building. The meeting will feature a 50th Anniversary Soy Production Panel: Know More, Grow More – Getting the Most From Your Soy Crop in 2016. The panel will feature Tom McKemie of Coastal Agrochemical, Mike Baker with Asgrow, Derek Potter, a Pamlico County farmer and Kevin Matthews, a Yadkin County farmer. There will also be an update on the association's new strategic direction and investment in research.
Breakfast will be served.
