MicroLead Webinar # 9

Financial Diaries in Myanmar - Lessons Learned
Dear MicroLead Partners,

Do you know your client’s financial reality? How do they meet ends daily? How do they save? How do they spend? You might have some partial knowledge of that or not at all.

Getting closer to your clients’ financial complicated lives and understanding their behavior helps build appropriate services that will match their economic reality, needs and capacity. Financial diaries research is one of the tools that provides a deep knowledge of poor people’s financial behavior. MicroLead in Myanmar has recently commissioned such a research and the results are now ready for release.

Please join us on Wednesday December 9th for a MicroLead webinar on “Financial Diaries in Myanmar-Lessons Learned”. The panel, composed of Guy Stuart, Microfinance Opportunities Executive Director, and Paul Luchtenburg, UNCDF MicroLead Programme Specialist, will take you through the research methodology and findings conducted in Myanmar.

As a result of this webinar, you will have a better understanding of what it entails to conduct such research, and how useful the findings are for designing or improving products and services that match the needs of poor rural households.

To find out more about financial diaries and how this type of research can help your organization be more client centric, join us from 2PM to 3PM Dar es Salaam time (EAT).
