Debden Park High School holds Sixth Form open evening
Hundreds of parents and prospective Sixth Form students visited Debden Park High School to find out more about the courses available from next September - and to hear about the planned new Sixth Form building.
Executive Headteacher Christian Cavanagh announced that the building project was progressing with the new-build set to be ready in plenty of time for the start of the next academic year next September.
The audience also heard from Sixth Form students Zoe Earwicker and Sam Latchford and Director of Sixth Form Sharon Palmer before they could tour the school and meet Sixth Form students and teachers.
Displays were manned throughout the school as Sixth Form students acted as guides and were on hand to answer questions from visitors.
Sharon Palmer said: "We had a great evening showing prospective Year 12 students and their parents what Debden Park Sixth Form has to offer.
"We're immensely proud of our new Sixth Form and were very pleased with the positive feedback we received."
