WARM SUMMER AHEAD
The earlier Spring rain was terrific, ahead of what is predicted to be a warmer Summer. The rain and our new bore should cover our irrigation needs until the grapes and olives are harvested in the new year. We hear that because of these rather trying times (including the continuing over-supply of grapes), nearly a quarter of Aussie grapegrowers have left the industry in the past 2-3 years.
 NEW PRODUCT - RASPBERRY VINAIGRETTE
Gai's latest creation is a Raspberry Vinaigrette, with the raspberry flavour coming principally from our vine-row Shiraz grapes, blended with raspberry vinegar & extra virgin OO. Priced at $23 (250ml), here is one (of numerous) suggestions for its use:
"Finely slice English spinach, add picked watercress (or baby rocket) and finely diced Spanish onion. Drizzle the Vinaigrette over and toss the salad. Then when ready to serve, sprinkle with toasted pine nuts (or toasted sesame seeds). The result will be a salad wonder - to accompany poached chicken or pan fried duck breast."
 NYU ('not your usual') SEMILLON SELLING QUICKLY!
Few who try our unique style of Semillon ever leave without some. Our 2013 Semillon (with a little Riesling) and 2014 Semillon (with a little Chardonnay) have all sold out. For Gai & I, this is what we are trying to achieve, but recognise for some of our customers, this will be sad news. Our supply of 2014 NYU Semillon will only last until Christmas, leaving us only with our latest easy drinking 2015 NYU Semillon - a real favourite with only 10% alcohol and less preservative. Both are priced at $20.

We can arrange for any of these to be delivered to an overseas address - up until the second week of December. Our experience shows air freight to NZ is approx $30; to the UK about $45.
