Over 500 events registered for International Day of People with Disability

Schools, sporting clubs, councils and community groups across the country are busy planning events on or around 3 December this year.

From flash mobs to fishing, bowling to BBQs and plenty of come-and-try days, the community has embraced the opportunity to celebrate this special day and promote the importance of inclusion and accessibility for all.

To those who have already organised an event, thank you! To those who are yet to register, there is still time. Even if your event is not open to the public, please register. Only events open to the public will be displayed in the community event calendar.

Register your celebration at http://www.idpwd.com.au/ and receive free products to help promote your event.

International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations sanctioned day celebrated on 3 December each year.
