Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang and the adjacent Fieberbrunn ski region in Tyrol are growing together. As of December 2015, the TirolS, a state-of-the-art 10-passenger cable car, and the 3.5 kilometer Vierstadlalm slope, which can receive artificial snow throughout the winter season, will connect the two regions. Comprising 270 kilometers of slopes and including 70 lifts, the Ski Circus is not only Austria’s largest contiguous ski region but also one of its most diverse.

From January 22. to the 24. 2016, a new chapter in Saalfelden’s history will be written. For the first time, a three-day jazz event will take place in winter.

The 9. Saalfelden Ski Marathon is a cross-country mega-event. 500 professional and amateur athletes will compete in 42 and 21-kilometer single races and 21-kilometer team races. The marathon also includes races for children and adolescents.

| The Firebird |
After the play “The Snow Queen” earned rave reviews in February 2015, Leogang’s theater tent will host another show in February 2016. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of ecce theater, Dirk Böttger’s adaptation of “The Firebird” will enthuse visitors of all ages in the circus tent near the Asitz cable car station in Leogang.
