* The Scouts of the Round Table (WSJ Unit 10) on an awesome presentation to families and friends on Sunday about their amazing Jamboree adventures. Thanks especially to the leaders - Chris, Elaine, Fi and Ian - and congratulations to Chris Floyd on being awarded a County Commissioner’s Commendation for his leadership at three World Scout Jamborees.
* Ninety Tanzania 2017 applicants on a great selection weekend, including surviving two middle of the night wake-up calls, moving pioneering poles from A to B and then back again, and in-depth interviews. Fingers crossed for everyone.
* Explorer Scout Violetta Howard (Andover District) on receiving the prestigious Hampshire Schools’ Sports Federation Michael Austin Harlick Outstanding Sportsperson Award at a ceremony in Winchester last Thursday. Violetta shoots small-bore rifle with Hampshire Scout Rifle Club and was nominated for outstanding and consistent performance as a target shooter and for her dedication to her training and pursuit of excellence in the sport. Pax Hill Christmas Fair
Pax Hill Nursing home are holding their annual Christmas Fair this Sunday, 22nd November from 2 - 5pm, and Fareham District Scout Band are playing some Christmas songs as part of the entertainment.

Fareham Scout Band
Are looking for new members to join us. Come and join the fun. Doesn't matter if you have never played an instrument. Our members will help you learn. Membership to the band is open to anyone living in the local area. Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Leaders and not just in the two Fareham Scouting Districts. Adult Training Update
HQ Training Updates
Now training updates are coming through in Scouting Plus we will be publishing updates to Adult Training on the County website for easy reference. These updates can be downloaded in pdf format via the the link on the TA and LTM pages.
Module 10 (First Aid)
New dates for M10 have now been added for 2016 and can be found on the calendar on the District Adult Training page.
Module 36 (Special Needs)
A date for M36 has been added to the County Adult Training page. It will be run on Saturday 5th March 2016 at Shedfield.
This module aims to provide information, support and resources for those working with young people with special needs.
