Making Sense of Bournemouth

Bournemouth Tourism Management Board is holding a free workshop on 25th November examining how you can promote your business to customers by tapping into all their senses - sight, sound, touch, smell and taste.

It will be held at the Carlton Hotel from 1.30 to 4.30pm.

Dementia Tourism
– why it’s important for you


Some 850,000 people currently live in Britain with dementia and this is forecast to rise to one million by 2025. This growing problem will increasingly affect tourism businesses as people with dementia and their carers travel. To help businesses respond positively, we’ve compiled a guide offering the latest research, tips and downloadable resources to ensure people with dementia always feel welcome.
