What a year it has been at Praise & Worship! We've grown in many different ways: more people, more hope, more love, more grace, more peace. We are making a difference in the things that matter most. What's next? Check out this article on our all new Website that charts our course ahead. It is a summary of our current sermon series, ZOE (the Greek word for LIFE).
The State of Praise & Worship
While we cannot measure success based upon the "B.I.S" model like the airlines do, measuring statistics are one helpful gauge on the dashboard of our church. Here's a summary:
2013 Average Attendance/Giving: 51 / $1,707.58
2014 Average Attendance/Giving: 61 / $2,276.99
2015 Average Attendance Giving (through end of October): 72 / $2,756.47
 These are healthy gauge readings! Likewise, as an organization, our financials are healthy and headed in the right direction. I cannot overemphasize enough that for a church in the 21st Century, the trends shown in our numbers are rare. We are blessed! The leaders who run our organization, taking care of business, paying bills and managing the financials in a completely transparent manner (by the way, full details are available, so let us know if interested), are to be commended! The next time you see Kirk Manion, Georgiana Carter, Mike Linneman, Steve Lindwedel, Doug Manz, Dick Stabo, Bernie Smith, Linda Reinbold, Ron Jett, and Ron Musolino, tell them THANK YOU!
Again, these gauges tell us just one part of the dashboard. But Jesus didn't say, "Go make disciples by inviting them to Sunday morning worship!" He said to make disciples by Baptizing and Teaching. We've been teaching a great deal, but there have been no baptisms this year. Join me in praying for the Lord to send us to the lost and the lost to us! When I can post a report with multiple baptisms of people who didn't know Jesus, well, get ready for your pastor to play some Rock-and-Roll music! (<-- just kidding...I think!)
