Missionaries are my Heroes

Hello Dear Friends,

Missionaries are my heroes. I first learned about Missionaries as a young girl and was taught the importance of praying for them, giving money for missions, and also doing missions. The story of Lottie Moon helped me understand fully the great passion , love, sacrifice and hardships that are involved in being a Missionary.

I attended many Church Camps in my youth where real, live Missionaries came and talked to us every day, inspiring us as they shared what they were doing for the Lord. I myself felt a calling from God at one of those Church Camps to perhaps serve Him on the Mission Field someday. I did not know that it would be later, much later in my life before He would give me the opportunity to live out that call with River Valley Christian Life Corps. I am humbled and thankful for each of you He has called to serve with me. I am very thankful for each of you who are giving to missions through your donations to River Valley Christian Life Corps. I also am very grateful to all of you that pray for this ministry. It is prayer that is keeping our doors open and the ministry growing. You are doing missions right here, right now and you are all my heroes

Prayer Needs and Praises:

Better relationships, time management, clear minds, salvation for family members, better finances, money management, health issues, employment opportunities, and flexibility in life changes.

We are needing donations of furniture for those who have received housing, couches, beds, dressers,and microwaves. Many of our male participants are in need of clothing such as jeans, and work casual clothing and also warm clothes and outer wear are needed for this cooler weather. We need a toddler bed and a baby crib for one of our soon to be Mothers.

We are thanking and praising God for our provision as He keeps this Ministry moving forward with financial donations, physical donations and for the Mentors and Volunteers. He continues to cause amazing things to happen. We are also very thankful for our Board Members as they make many hard decisions for the future of River Valley Christian Life Corps.
