Tyler Atkinson "Survives" the Field to Win the Inaugural Survivor Series Tournament

Tyler Atkinson of Sheboygan posted the highest score in game 1 of the tournament and never looked back as he finished off a dominant performance by winning the November 29th Survivor Series Tournament held at Odyssey Fun Center.

Tyler rolled a 244 and defeated Pat Sertich of Sheboygan (226), Todd Schaetzer of Sheboygan (217) and Paul Gloede of Plymouth (186) in the 4-person final game.

In the Survivor format, following 4 games of qualifying the field was cut to the top 24 bowlers.  Positions 9 through 24 bowled the first round while positions 1 through 8 got a pass into the 3rd round.  Each round bowlers simply needed to finish in the top half of the field to "survive" to move on to the next round.

Thanks to a huge day in the bowling ball drawing, we were able to add enough money into the prize fund to add four additional payout spots than what we advertised - paying out nearly 40% of the field.

Our next tournament is Sunday, December 27th at 11am at Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan.  Like this last tournament, pre-pays are welcome and encouraged, however, walk-in entries are accepted without penalty.
