Returning to Vail, Colorado for its fourth year, the 34th annual Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships continue to showcase the world’s best snowboarders on the pristine slopes of Golden Peak. From Feb 29th – March 5th, 2016, Vail will host over 100 of the world's best riders to battle it out over four days of intense competition for a chance to be crowned the US Open Halfpipe and Slopestyle Champions. Riders and spectators alike will enjoy world-class snowboarding venues, live entertainment, awesome terrain, and much more at the World’s longest-running snowboarding competition. 343,000 USD up for grabs and titles that mean riders win millions of Facebook followers overnight.

So here is all you need to know about Spring Battle. Coolest content format on the tour in one of Europe's best parks - Absolut Park. Riders have a week riding the same park line to film one judged run. They can film it as many times as they like until they get it perfect. The footage of that run is then judged and you have the results and a ton of great riding footage. Spring Battle may well be the mellowest competition format on the WST but also one of the best to actually watch the world's best riders just sessioning a great park. Get to Flachauwinkl in Austria from the 12th till the 18th of March.
