Join the Oregon College of Art and Craft (OCAC), for their holiday market full of gifts fresh from the hands of artists. Find prints, jewelry, letterpress, ceramics, scarves and other unique and innovative treasures! Proceeds benefit OCAC student scholarships.
Hours are FRI 5 - 9 pm, SAT 10 am - 4 pm and SUN 10 am - 3 pm.

Art Installation: Melody Owen

Join Wieden + Kennedy for the opening of their December art installation by artist Melody Owen. Ever Drifting Down the Stream, will decorate the lobby of Wieden + Kennedy through the month of December.
Owen is represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery.

An Opera for One

In 2013, Kartz Ucci worked with Abby Donovan and Tom Hughes to make 256 shades of grey, a projected light and MIDI sound piece influenced by the Grateful Dead song A Touch of Grey. Originally shown at High Desert Test Sites located in Joshua Tree, California, The Art Gym at Marylhurst University will hold an event on December 5 to recreate this piece as a closing celebration for the exhibition kartz ucci–an opera for one.

Join Disjecta at Boom Arts for A KADDISH FOR BERNIE MADOFF a beautiful, haunting music theater work. The work is the creation of poet, violinist, and Torah scholar Alicia Jo Rabins. It was written and performed by Rabins on processed violin and vocals and scored by full-length projected animation by Portland artist Zak Margolis.

PNCA Winter Prom

Please join Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) and a large and passionate circle of friends to commemorate William Jamison’s 70th birthday with one of his much-loved traditions – a prom and art party. Plan on unexpected visuals, unusual appearances, and unceasing acceptance at William’s Winter Prom on the Moon.
Proceeds from the event will support the William Jamison Endowed Scholarship Fund, established at PNCA in William’s memory.

Blue Sky Gallery Welcomes New Director
Blue Sky Gallery has announced that Lisa DeGrace will become the gallery's new executive director.
DeGrace has spent her career working in nonprofits in Oregon and SW Washington in various leadership and fundraising positions. Over the past 20 years, she has gained a clear vision of what makes non-profit arts organizations thrive.
